简介：SinteredmulliteispreparedbykyanitepowderwithAl2O3contentof45%and50%(Yinshan,NanyangCity,China),andtheindustrialaluminaisaddedtocontrolthechemicalcomposition.ThedifferentseriesofsinteredmulliteaccordingtotheAl2O3content(45%-70%)aredesigned.Therawmaterialsaremixedandcompacted,andthensinteredatdifferenttemperatures.Physicalproperties,phasecomposition,microstructureandrefractorinessunderloadofthesynthesizedsamplesarecharacterizedbyphysicalpropertytest,XRD,SEMandRULtest,inordertoconfirmthequalityofsinteringandtherelationshipbetweentemperatureandmullitizationreaction.Theresultsshowthatthesinteredmullitefromlow-mediumgradekyanitehaswelldevelopedmullitecrystalsandacontinuousstaggerednetworkstructureisformed,whichhasasignificantcontributiontoincreasingthehightemperatureperformanceofmullite.
