简介:TheGoda'smethodofseparatingthefrequencyspectrumoftheunidirectionalincidentandreflectedwavesisimproved.Theproposedmethodcanbeappliedtotheseparationofobliqueincidentandreflectedwavesandthetwowavegaugescanbearrangedinanarbitraryangleinfrontofastructure.Whentheprojecteddistanceofthetwoprobesontheincidentwavedirectionisthemultipleofthehalflengthoftheincidentwaves,thesingularproblemwillemergebyusingthemethod.Itisadvisedthatwhentheprojecteddistanceofthetwomeasuredpointsontheincidentwavedirectionis0.05~0.45timesthewavelengthofpeakfrequencywave,goodresultscanbeobtained.Thesimulatedresultantwavesareseparatedbythemethodofnumericalsimulationandtheseparatedwavespectraarebasicallycorrespondingtothetargetspectrainput.Thewavetrainscalculatedbytheseparatedincidentandreflectedwavefrequencyspectrumareapproximatedtotheinputwavetrainsandthereflectedcoefficientcanbederivedcorrectly.Therefore,themethodproposedinthispaperisreliable.

简介:Inthispaper,weinvestigateexperimentallytheconceptofenergyharvestingfromgallopingoscillationswithafocusonwakeandturbulenceeffects.Theharvesteriscomposedofaunimorphpiezoelectriccantileverbeamwithasquarecross-sectiontipmass.Inonecase,theharvesterisplacedinthewakeofanothergallopingharvesterwiththeobjectiveofdeterminingthewakeeffectsontheresponseoftheharvester.Inthesecondcase,mesheswereplacedupstreamoftheharvesterwiththeobjectiveofinvestigatingtheeffectsofupstreamturbulenceontheresponseoftheharvester.Theresultsshowthatbothwakeeffectsandupstreamturbulencesignificantlyaffecttheresponseoftheharvester.Dependingonthespacingbetweenthetwosquaresandtheopeningsizeofthemesh,wakeandupstreamturbulencecanpositivelyenhancetheleveloftheharvestedpower.
简介:RecentexperimentalresultsonNIFrevealedamuchhigherstimulatedBrillouinscattering(SBS)andstimulatedRamanscattering(SRS)backscatterthanexpected;onepossiblereasonwasduetothecoherencebetweenincidentlaserbeams.Inourresearch,twolaserbeams(~1ns,~250J,527nmineachone)withdifferentcoherentdegreesbetweenthemfromtheSG-IIfacilitywereemployedtoirradiateanAuplatetarget;thebackscatterofSBSandSRSintherangeofthegivensolidanglehadbeenmeasured.Theresultsshowedthatitcouldchangedramaticallycorrespondingtothedifferenceofthecoherentdegreebetweenthetwolaserbeams,andtherewasusuallymoreintensebackscatterthehigherthecoherentdegreebetweentheincidentbeams.

简介:Thispaperpresents2.5DscatteringofincidentplaneSHwavesbyacanyoninlayeredhalf-spacebytheindirectboundaryelementmethod(IBEM).Thefreefieldresponseiscarriedouttogivethedisplacementsandstressesonthelinewhichformsboundaryofthecanyon.ThefictitiousuniformmovingloadsareappliedtothesamelinetocalculatetheGreen'sfunctionsforthedisplacementsandstresses.Theamplitudesoftheloadsaredeterminedbytheboundaryconditions.Thedisplacementsduetothefreefieldandfromthefictitiousuniformmovingloadshavetobeaddedtoobtainthewholemotion.Thenumericalresultsarecarriedoutforthecasesofacanyoninhomogenousandinonelayeroverbedrock.Theresultsshowthatthe2.5Dwavescatteringproblemisessentiallydifferentfromthe2Dcase,andthereexistdistinctdifferencesbetweenthewaveamplificationbyacanyoninlayeredhalf-spaceandthatinhomogeneoushalf-space.Thereasonsforthedistinctdifferenceareexplored,andtheeffectsofthethicknessandstiffnessofthelayerontheamplificationarediscussed.
简介:Aninversemethodispresentedforestimatingtheunknownboundaryincidentradiationheatfluxononesideofone-dimensionalsemitransparentplanarslabwithsemitransparentboundariesfromtheknowledgeoftheradiationintensitiesexitingfromtheotherside.Theinverseproblemissolvedusingconjugategradientmethodofminimizationbasedondiscreteordinatesmethod(DOM)ofradiativetransferequation.TheequationsofsensitivitycoefficientsarederivedandeasilysolvedbyDOM,withtheresultthatthecomplicatednumericaldifferentiationcommonlyusedinsolvingsensitivitycoefficientsisavoided.Theeffectsofanisotropicscattering,absorptioncoefficient,scatteringcoefficient,boundaryreflectivity,fluidtemperatureoutsidetheboundaries,convectionheattransfercoefficients,conductioncoefficientofsemitransparentmediaandslabthicknessontheaccuracyoftheinverseanalysisareinvestigated.Theresultsshowthattheboundaryincidentradiationheatfluxcanbeestimatedaccurately,evenwithnoisydata.
