简介：RegionalinternationalcooperationinseismicdataexchangeandjointseismologicalanalysisintheAsian-Pacificregionsplaysanimportantroleinthereductionofearthquakedisastersintheseregionsaswellasthedevelopmentofglobalseismology.Basedontheup-to-datedevelopmentofnewtechnologyanddigitalbroadbandseismology,wediscussedtheAsianseismologicalCommission(ASC)Proposal"Asian-PacificSeismologicalDataCenter",Weappliedtheconceptofvirtualseismologicalnetwork(OttemoellerandHavskov,1999)totheproposedASCdataexchangeprogram.Basedonthedevelopmentofdigitalseismology,weintroducedaconceptof"modernearthquakecatalogues"whichincludenotonlylocationparametersandmagnitudesasintheconventionalearthquakecataloguesbutalsonewparametersofearthquakessuchasCMT,radiatedenergy,STF,andearthquakeruptureprocess,WerecommendedawebbasedregionalinternationaldataexchangeprogrambetweentheASCmemberswiththepurposeofformingavirtualAsian-Pacificseismologicalnetwork,andtheinterpretationandanalysisofbroadbanddigitalseismicwaveformsconductedatdistributed"datacenters".
