简介：Inordertostudytheeffectsofwetcompressiononatransoniccompressor,afull3-Dsteadynumericalsimulationwascarriedoutundervaryingconditions.Differentinjectedwaterflowratesanddropletdiameterswereconsidered.Theeffectofwetcompressionontheshock,separatedflow,pressureratio,andefficiencywasinvestigated.Additionally,theeffectofwetcompressiononthetipclearancewhenthecompressorrunsinthenear-stallandstallsituationswasemphasized.Analysisoftheresultsshowsthattherangeofstableoperationisextended,andthatthepressureratioandinletairflowratearealsoincreasedatthenear-stallpoint.Inaddition,itseemsthatthereisanoptimumsizeofthedropletdiameter.
