  • 简介:In2004,China’sdigitalseismicobservationnetworkprojectbegantodeploy40setsYRY-4four-componentboreholestrainmetersinordertomonitorearthquakepreparationprocess.Thepaperdescribesobservedsolidtidalstraindiscretenessandtidalfactoranisotropy,analyzesthereliabilityofobservationaldataanddiscussesthecauseforthisphenomenon.Aftergettingridofinterferences,thenetwork,intwoyearspractice,hasobservedseveralpre-seismicstrainanomaliesatstationsclosetoepicentersespeciallyintheWenchuanMS8.0megaquake.Itshowsthatthisboreholestrainmeternetworkiscapableofmonitoringseismogenicprocess.

  • 简介:FinemeasurementshavebeenconductedtotemperaturesandtheirgradientsofsixwellsoftheJinshaRiverGroundwaterObservationalNetwork.Theresultsshowthattheinfluencedepthsofsunradiationheatare50mto125m,averagetemperaturegradientsinthewellsrangefrom0.11to2.81℃/hmandmostare1~2℃/hm,andthetemperaturegradientsonvarieddepthsectionsofonewellarehighlychangeable.Lithologyofstrataandtheirintegrity,particularlyhigh-anglecrashedfaultzones,haveimposedmajoreffectsontheinfluencedepthsofsunradiationheatandtemperaturegradientsofthewells.Themicrodynamiccharacteristicsofwatertemperature,suchascoseismiceffects,tidaleffectsandanomaliesofthewellspriortoearthquakes,probablydepend,toalargedegree,onthetemperaturegradientsofthedepthsatwhichthewatertemperaturesensorsaresettled.

  • 简介:WeuseddatafromtheXinjiangDigitalSeismicNetworkandPSD(PowerSpectralDensity)methodtoperformnoiselevelassessmentforsixstations.Wecalculatedthemedianofthepowerspectraldensitytoevaluatethenoiselevelofdifferentstations.Afterthecomparisonofthepowerspectraldensityofdifferentstationsandtheairgunsignalrecognition,wefoundthatnoiselevelofstationswithrecognizableairgunsourcesignalsislowerthanthatofstationswithoutrecognizablesignals.Thelargestdifferenceofthepowerspectraldensityis40dB,andthesmallestis15dB.Finally,wefoundthatthefailuretorecognizethesignalofairgunsourcesatsomestationsisduetothenoiselevel.

  • 简介:Using116earthquakesoverML3.8intheInnerMongoliaregionfrom2008to2015,thelocalearthquakemagnitudeMLandsurfacewavemagnitudeMSareremeasured.Basedonnormlinearregression(SR1andSR2)andnorm(OR)orthogonalregressionmethod,weestablishedtheconversionrelationshipbetweenMLandMS.TheresultsweretestedwithGaussiandisturbance.Theresultshowsthattheorthogonalregressionmethod(OR)resulthasthebestfittingcurve,andtheconversionrelationisMS=0.96ML-0.10.ThedifferencebetweenourresultandGuoLücan's(MS=1.13ML-1.08)maybecausedbyregionaltectoniccharacteristics.MSInnerMongoliavalueissignificantlyhigherthantheMSempiricalvalue,withanaveragedifferenceof0.23,thedifferencedistributionofempiricalrelationandtherectifiedrelationisintherangeof0.2-0.3.

  • 简介:Thisstudyinvestigatesdata-processingmethodsandexaminestheprecipitationeffectongravitymeasurementsattheDaligravitynetwork,establishedin2005.High-qualitygravitydatawerecollectedduringfourmeasurementcampaigns.Tousethegravitydatavalidly,somegeophysicalcorrectionsmustbeconsideredcarefully.Wefirstdiscussdata-processingmethodsusingweightedleastsquaresadjustmentwiththeconstraintoftheabsolutegravitydatum.Resultsindicatethatthegravityprecisioncanbeimprovedifallabsolutegravitydataareusedasconstraintsandifcalibrationfunctionsofrelativegravimetersaremodeledwithintheobservationfunction.Usingthisdata-processingscheme,themeanpointgravityprecisionisbetterthan12lgal.Afterdeterminingthebestdata-processingscheme,wethenprocessthegravitydataobtainedinthefourmeasurementcampaigns,andobtaingravitychangesinthreetimeperiods.Resultsshowthatthegravityhasaremarkablechangeofmorethan50lgalinthefirsttimeperiodfromApr–Mayof2005toAug–Septof2007.Tointerpretthelargegravitychange,ameanwatermasschange(0.6minheight)isassumedintheETOPO1topographicmodel.Calculationsoftheprecipitationeffectongravityshowthatitcanreachthesameorderoftheobservedgravitychange.ItisregardedasamainsourceoftheremarkablegravitychangeintheDaligravitynetwork,suggestingthattheprecipitationeffectongravitymeasurementsmustbeconsideredcarefully.

  • 简介:ThispapersummarizesthelayoutoftheYunnanseismicELFelectromagneticobservationnetwork,siteselection,ELFelectromagneticinstrumentsystem,dataprocessingandotherconstruction.TheprincipleandmethodofusingtheELFelectromagneticwavetechniquetomonitorandpredictearthquakesareexpounded.ThelongtermmonitoringofELFelectromagneticfieldsiscarriedoutintheYunnanearthquakepronearea,andatthesametime,thechangesinelectricalparametersandspatialelectromagneticfieldsoftheregionalcrustalmediumstructurearemonitored.Thefunctionssuchasautomatic,quasirealtime,remotemonitoring,networkmonitoring,dataprocessingspecialization,dataservice,datasharingandindustrializationoftheELFelectromagneticobservationdatahavebeenrealized.Inordertocapturethedeepelectromagneticprecursoryinformationoftheearthquakes,serviceforearthquakepredictionresearch,whichhasbroadapplicationprospectsanddevelopmentpotential.ThroughtheresearchoftheseismicityofYunnaninthetrialrunperiodoftheproject,thepreliminaryresultsoftheextremelowfrequencyelectromagneticobservationoftheYunnanearthquakeinrecentyearsaregiven.TheelectromagneticprecursorsandtheelectromagneticeffectsoftheYangbiearthquakearerecorded.Inthe3-monthperiodbeforetheearthquake,thepowerspectrumoftheelectricandmagneticfields,theapparentresistivityandtheimpedancephaseintheobservedsignalsareallabnormal,andgraduallyincreasedwithtime.Themaximumvalueisreached20daysbeforetheearthquake,andanearthquakeoccurswhenthechangeisrestoredtonormal.
