简介：Anon-linearturbulenthydrodynamicmodelwasproposedbyZhanandLi(1993)usingthelargeeddysimulationapproachanddirectionaleddyviscositymethod.Themodelissimplifiedinthispaperandisappliedtotheproblemofasidedischargeintoopen-channelflow,whereareeireulationzonedevelopsdownstreamofthedischarge.Thenumericalresultsarecomparedwithexperimentalresults(StrazisarandPrahl(1973)andMikhail,Chu,andSavage(1975))andpreviousnumericalresultsobtainedusingak-εmodel(McGuirkandRodi,1978).Theagreementisgood.
