<正>IntroductionVarioustraditionalmedicinesystemsexistthroughouttheworld,andwithineachculturetherearedifferencesregardingtheconceptsofhealth,illness,andtreatment.Manyofthetraditionalmedicalsystemsplayanimportantrolewithineachsocietyandtodaymanytypesoftraditionalmedicinesystemshavebecomemorerecognizedandunderstoodasalegitimateformofhealthcarebythegeneralpopulation,eventhoughbiomedicineorWesternmedicinehasbecomethedominantmedicalsystemofcontemporaryhealthcare.
