摘要
ThispaperstudiesRabinovitch'scompressionexperimentsongraniteandchalkandproposesanoscillatingdipolemodeltoanalyseandsimulatetheelectromagneticradiationphenomenoncausedbyfractureofrocks.Ourmodelassumesthattheelectromagneticradiationpulsesareinitiatedbyvibrationsofthechargedrockgrainsonthetipsofthecrack.Thevibrationsoftherockgrainsarestimulatedbythepulsesofthecracks.OursimulationsshowcomparableresultswithRabinovitch'scompressionexperiments.Fromthesimulationresults,itverifiesanassumptionthatthecrackwidthisinverselyproportionaltothecircularfrequencyelectromagneticradiation,whichispresentedbyRabinovitchetal.Thesimulationresultsalsoimplythat,byusingouroscillatingdipolemodeltogetherwithRabinovitch'stwoequationsaboutthecracklengthandcrackwidth,wecanquantitativelyanalyseandsimulatetheelectromagneticradiationphenomenon,whichisinducedfromthefractureoftherocks.
