摘要
Basedontheretrospectionofresearchesoncarryingcapacity,thisarticlereviewedsystematicallytheresearchprogressesoncarryingcapacityofrelativeresources(CCRR).ThentheviewpointwasputforwardthatCCRRisnotanappropriatemethodofappraisingtheregionalsustainability,butasoundwaytoobtaincognitionforcoordinatingspatiallocationandflowofpopulationandeconomy.However,asthemostpopularcomputingmethodofCCRR,theWeightingLinearSumModelisdefectiveintherandomofweightchoiceandtheneglectofmatchingamongdifferentresources.Therefore,thisarticleestablishedtheGeometricModelonCCRRbasedonmodifyingWeightingLinearSumModel,whichcanbeusedtoappraiseregionswhereresourcesareclosematching.EmployingtheGeometricModel,thearticleempiricallyanalyzedthepopulationandeconomicCCRRinHubeiProvincefrom1978to2006.TheresultindicatesthatthepopulationinHubeiProvinceisoverloadingwhiletheeconomiccarryingcapacityisabundantcomparedtothewholecountry,andtheeconomicinsufficiencyrestrictsthepopulationcarryingcapacity.Inthefuture,HubeiProvincewillbecomeoneofthecoredevelopingzoneswhicharecharacterizedbyeconomicconglomeration.
