摘要
Thefactorsaffectingparticlesizeofreactivemicrogelsformedduringtheself-emulsifyingcopolymerizationofunsaturatedpolyester(UP)withbutylacrylate(BA)havebeenstudied.Theparametersdiscussedare:theproportionoftheUPinthemonomermixture,themolecularweightandthecarboxylvalueoftheUP,thephaseratio,theelectrolyteconcentrationandthepolarsolventadditive.Theseedingemulsionpolymerizationisdiscussedaswell.Itturnedoutthattheparticlesizeofthereactivemicrogelscanbecontrolledinadefiniterangebychangingtheexperimentalconditions.Howevertheparticlesizedistributionbecomesbroaderastheaveragediameterincreases.Itissuggestedthattheagglomerationofprimaryparticlesplaysanimportantroleduringthegrowthofmicrogelparticle.
