摘要 InthisstudytheQingweatherrecords"ClearandRainRecords"wereusedtoreconstructthe18thcenturysummer(June-August)precipitationandmonthlyprecipitationseriesofMay,June,July,andAugust.Thenatureoftheserecordsandthetechniqucoftransformingthemintonumericalcodesaredescribed.Theprocedureofconvertingthesedescriptiverecordsintoquantitativemonthlyprecipitationanditsscientificbasisaregivenindetail.Thereliabilityoftheobtaindprecipitationseriesisalsoex-amined.
