摘要 IntroductionLightningcancausegreatdestruction.AccordingtotherecordinthenorthernChina,morethan150lightningstrokesoccuronapowersystemannually.Highvoltage(millionsofvolts)andlargecurrent(hundredsof-kA)associatedwithlightning,willdamagepropertyandevenkillpeopleandlivestocks.Itwillbeverydangerousifalightningstrokestrikesoildepotofpowerplantorsubstation.Inaddition,thehighvoltageinducedbytheelectrostaticchargegeneratedduetooilflowingwillprobablycausedamageunlesstheelectrificationhasbeenlimitedanddrainedoff.
