摘要
Anexperimentalmodelwassetuptoinvestigatetheformationandevolutionofthefreesurfacevortex.AParticleImageVelocimetry(PIV)wasusedtomeasurethefreesurfacevortexflowfieldatdifferentdevelopmentstages.Flowvisualizationwasusedtolocatethevortexpositionandfinditsstructure.Empiricalformulasaboutthecriticalsubmergenceandthewholefieldstructurewereobtained.ItisfoundthatthetangentialvelocitydistributionissimilartothatoftheRankinevortexandtheradialvelocitychangeslittleinthevortexfunctionalscope.Vortexstartsfromthefreesurfaceandgraduallyintensifiestoairentrainmentvortex.Thevortexcoremovesduringtheformationandevolutionofthefreesurfacevortex.Basedontheexperimentalmodel,thevortexpositionandstructurewerepredictedbynumericalsimulationcombinedwithavortexmodelandcomparedwiththatoftheexperiments,whichshowssatisfactoryagreement.
