Effect of Single-walled Carbon Nanotubes on Cellulose Phenylcarbamate Chiral Stationary Phases

摘要 Single-walledcarbonnanotubes(SWNTs)haveahighadsorptionabilityandnanoscaleinteractions.Cellulosetrisphenylcarbamatespossesshighenantioseparationabilityinhigh-performanceliquidchromatography(HPLC).Single-walledcarbonnanotubesmixedwithcellulosetrisphenylcarbamatearecoatedonthesilicagelaschiralstationaryphasesandhigherenantioseparationfactorsareobtained.Afterasingle-walledcarbonnanotubeislinkedtothe6-positionofcellulose2,3-bisphenylcarbamate,itsenantioseparationresolutionincreasescomparedtothatofthecellulosetrisphenylcarbamate.ItisthefirsttimethatSWNTshavebeenappliedtoenantioseparation.Theresultsindicatethatthesingle-walledcarbonnanotubesaregoodpromotersofchiralrecognition.Thismethodcanbeusedtoimprovetheenantioseparationefficiencyofthepolysaccharidechiralstationaryphases.
