摘要 IntroductionAsamemberofthebonemorphogeneticprotein(BMP)family,BMP-2playsimportantrolesnotonlyinboneregenerationandbonerepairbutalsoincellproliferation,apoptosis,differentiationandmorphogenesis.TheBMP-2remarkableabilitytostimulatenewbonegrowthresultsinthedevelopmentofanoveltherapystrategyforbonemassdefectduetoaccidentsordiseases.BecausetheBMP-2itself,inconjunctionwithasuitablematrix,issufficienttostimulategenesisofnewbone,thegeneticallyengineeredBMP-2hasgoodappliedprospects.
