摘要
HubeiProvinceisoneofthecriticalgrainproductionregionsinChinawiththequantitativecultivatedlandandgoodnaturalcondition;itplaysanimportantroleingrainsecurityinChina.However,owingtorapideconomicgrowth,populationpressures,anthropogenicactivities,andnaturaldisasters,thequalityofthecultivatedlandhassignificantlydecreasedinrecentyearsandenvironmentalresourcesareunderincreasingstress.Inordertoresearchonthemechanismofthechangeofthecultivatedland,thispaperanalyzesqualitativelytheinfluencingfactorsofthecultivatedlandchangeinHubeiProvincefrom1978to2004,anddistinguishesthedirectfactorsfromindirectinfluentonesbymeansoftheapproachofthepathanalysis.Theresultshowsthattheareaoftherentlandinthetotalnon-agriculturalland,thetotalpopulationgrowthandthefixedassetinvestmentarethemainfactorsdecidingthechangeofthecultivatedland.Meanwhile,thedensityofthetransportationnetwork,theproportionofpercapitaincomeofruralcitizenstothatofurbancitizens,non-agriculturalgrossdomesticproduction’sshareofthetotalGDPhasalessdirecteffectbutamoreindirectinfluenceonthedecreaseofthecultivatedlandinHubeiProvince.Theresultmeansthatwhilesomefactorshavelessdirectinfluenceonthechangeofthecultivatedland,itsindirectinfluencearesignificant,viceversa.Thusit’snecessarytoadoptacomprehensivemeasurementtoprotectthecultivatedland.
