Thecontinuoushugetradesurplushascausedunbalancedinternationalpayment.In2006,thetradesurplusreachedUS$177.6billion.Thishashadanegativeimpactonthecountry'sforeigntradedevelopment,andisthereforeadetrimenttothehealthydevelopmentofthenationaleconomy.Thegovernmenthasattachedgreatimportancetothisissue,andisreadytotakeeffectivemeasurestodealwithit.IntheFifthAnnualConferenceofChinaImport&ExportEnterprises,whichwassponsoredbytheChineseAcademyofInternationalTradeandEconomicCooperationoftheMinistryofCommerce,andalsobyChinaEximbank,governmentleadersandfinancialleadersputforwardsuggestionsabouthowtofacethisproblem.Editor
