XinjiangPowerCompanyandTachengAdministrativeOfficejointlysignedtheMinutesofTalksonPromotingDevelopmentofTachengPowerGridonNovember2.Accordingtotheminutesoftalks,XinjiangPowerCompanypromisedtomakeaninvestmentof1.76billionYuaninenhancingtheconstructionofTachengPowerGridinthe11thFive-YearPlanperiod.Thecompanyplannedtoconstructa750-kVsubstationwithacapacityof1500MVAinUsuCityanda750-kVlineof200km;toconstructthree220-kVsubstationswithatotalcapacityof360MVA,220-kVlineof98kmand220-kVlineupgradeof90km;toconstructten110-kVandextendeight110-kVsubstationswith370MVAsubstationcapacitynewlyadded;toconstruct110-kVlineof375kmandretrofit110-kVlineof93km.Bytheendof2008,10-kVlinesof135km,400-Vlinesof118km,220-Vlinesof21kmaswellas123transformerswillbebuilt.
