摘要 Thedamagesofbuildingstructuressubjectedtomultifariousexplosionscausehugelossesoflivesandproperty.Itisthereasonwhytheblastresistanceandexplosionprotectionofbuildingstructuresbecomeanimportantresearchtopicinthecivilengineeringfieldallovertheworld.ThispaperprovidesanoverviewoftheresearchworkinChinaonblastloadseffectonbuildingstructures.Itincludesmodelingblastshockwavepropagationandtheireffects,thedynamicresponsesofvariousbuildingstructuresunderblastloadsandthemeasurestostrengthenthebuildingstructuresagainstblastloads.Thepaperalsodiscussestheachievementsandfurtherworkthatneedsbedoneforabetterunderstandingoftheblastloads'effectsonbuildingstructures,andforderivingeffectiveandeconomictechniquestodesignnewortostrengthenexistingstructures.
