摘要 ThispaperproposestouseFastFourierTransform(FFT)/InverseFastFourierTransform(IFFT),insteadofvector-matrixmultiplication,toimplementthespreading/despreadinginCarrier-InterferometryOrthogonalFrequencyDivisionMultiplexing(CI/OFDM)andPseudo-OrthogonalCarrier-InterferometryOFDM(PO-CI/OFDM).ThatcanimprovethesignalprocessingefficiencyofCI/OFDMandPO-CI/OFDMsystemsbyabout2N/log2Nand2N/(1+log2N)timesrespectivelyanddosenotmakeanydifferencetothesystemfunctionandperformance.Moreover,theefficiencybenefitswillincreasewiththeincreaseofthenumberofsub-carriers.Inadditiontothat,wepointoutthatthetransmitterofCI/OFDMisactuallytechnicallyequivalenttothatofasingle-carriersystemwithcyclic-prefixandthereceiverofCI/OFDMisatypicalOFDMreceiverwithCIdespreading.HencethelowPeak-to-AveragePowerRatio(PAPR)propertyandhighanti-fadingperformanceofCI/OFDMsystemcanbewellexplained.
