摘要
Ananalyticalsolutionisgivenforatime-decayRankinevortexprofileduetoviscouseffects.Thevortexfilamentisassumedtobeisolated,strong,concentratedandhavingzero-meridionalflow(i.e.radialandaxialvelocitiesareequaltozero).Zero-meridionalrendersthegoverningequationsforanunsteady,incompressibleandaxisymmetricvortexinasimpleform.Basedonthetangentialmomentumequation,thespatial-temporaldistributionsoftheswirlvelocityaregivenintermsofFourier-Besselseriesbyusingseparationofvariablestechnique.Ageneralformulaisderivedbytotaldifferentiationoftheswirlvelocitywithrespecttotime,depictingtheviscousdissipationforOseenandTaylor-likevortexprofiles.Thisanalysisisvalidatedbycomparisonwithpreviousexperimentaldata.
