摘要 WestatisticallyanalyzethetropicaltyphoonformingintheSouthChinaSeaanduseTC(TropicalCyclone)forshortinthefollowing)bytyphoonyearbook.Thetyphoonquantityisverydifferentindifferentmonthsandyears.TCappearsinallmonthsexceptMarch,andthemostTCquantityinayearis11,theleastis1and6.2onaverage.ThemostTCquantityinamonthis5andtheleastis0.TClandsmostinAugustandnoTClandsonChinesecontinentfromDecembertothefollowingApril.TheprimarylandingareaisbetweenShantouandHainanIsland.ThesustainingperiodofTCisusuallybetween4daysto7days,andthelongestis19days.Only15%oftheTCformingintheSouthChinaSeacanintensifytotyphoon,andtheyallformintheoceanareadeeperthan150m.TheSouthChinaSeaistheoceanareaoverwhichtheTCoccursfrequently.
