A Finite Volume Method with Unstructured Triangular Grids for Numerical Modeling of Tidal Current

摘要 Thefinitevolumemethod(FVM)hasmanyadvantagesin2-Dshallowwaternumericalsimulation.Inthisstudy,thefinitevolumemethodisusedwithunstructuredtriangulargridstosimulatethetidalcurrents.TheRoeschemeisappliedinthecalculationoftheintercellnumericalflux,andtheMUSCLmethodisintroducedtoimproveitsaccuracy.Thetimeintegralisatwo-stepschemeofforecastandrevision.Fortheverificationofthepresentmethod,theStoker'sproblemiscalculatedandtheresultiscomparedwiththemathematicallyanalyticsolutions.Thecomparisonindicatesthatthemethodisfeasible.Aseaareaofaportisusedasanexampletotestthemethodestablishedhere.Theresultshowsthatthepresentcomputationalmethodissatisfactory,anditcouldbeappliedtotheengineeringfields.
