Tidal harmonic analysis of TOPEX/POSEIDON data in the Northwest Pacific by introducing difference-ratio relations-中国期刊网

摘要 Thedifference-ratiorelationsareintroducedtoseparatetidalconstituentsthatarealiasedduetothesamplingintervalandsamplingspanoftheTOPEX/POSEIDONaltimeter.ItisfoundthatsometidalconstituentssuchasK1andSSA,thoughaliasedatalongtrackpoints,arenotaliasedatcrossoverpointsbecausethedataatcrossoverpointsaredoublethoseatalongtrackpoints.Sotheharmonicanalysismethodcanbeemployeddirectlyfortheanalysisoftimeseriesatcrossoverpoints.Thenthedifference-ratiorelationsfromcrossoverpointsareintroducedtoanalyzethetimeseriesatalongtrackpoints.TheTOPEX/POSEIDONdataintheNorthwestPacificareanalyzedwiththismethod.Theresultsfromthismethodagreewellwithtidalconstantsfromtidalgauges.
