摘要
Aim:Tostudytheeffectofdiabetesmellitusandinsulintreatmentonratpenilenitricoxidesynthasecontent.Methods:MaleWistarratsweredividedatrandomintotwogroups:theControl(n=8)andtheDiabetic(n=17).Diabetesmellituswasinducedbyintraperitonealinjectionofstreptozotocin.Thediabeticanimalswerethenrandomlydividedintotwosubgroups:diabeticratswithoutinsulintreatment(n=7)anddiabeticratswithinsulintreatment(n=10).Theneuronalnitricoxidesynthase(nNOS)inthepenilecorpuscavemosumwereassayedbyimmumohistochemicalstainingwithspecificantibodytonNOSandthenNOS-positivenervefiberswerecountedsemiquantitativelyunderahighpowermicroscope.Results:ThenNOS-positivenervefibresindiabeticratswithtreatmentwashigherthanthatindiabeticratswithouttreatment(P<0.05)andlowerthanthatinthecontrols(P<0.01).ThenNOS-positivenervefibresindiabeticratwithouttreatmentwerealsolowerthanthatinthecontrols(P<0.01).Conclusion:Instreptozotocin-induceddiabeticrats,thenNOScontentinthepenilecorpuscavemosumwassignificantlydecreased.InsulintreatmentatthedoselevelemployedpartiallyrestoresthepenilenNOScontentintheserats.
