ADSORPTION DYNAMICS OF MACROPOROUS POLYMERIC ADSORBENT 1．The Studies on the Particle Diffusion Mass

摘要 Theadsorptiondynamicsforphenolinaqueoussolutionoftheadsorbentbasedonpolystyrenewasstudied.InordertodistinguishwiththeBoydquasi-homogeneousmodeloftheinnerstructureofion-exchanger,theparticlediffusionmodelincludingsurfacediffustionmodelandporediffusionmodelwassuggestedwhichissuitabletothemacroporousadsorbent.Thediffusiondeterminationstepoftheadsorptionpocesswasestablishedandtheeffectivediffusioncoefficientwasalsodetermined.Theinfluenceofsurfacediffusionandporedifusionontheparticlediffusionratewasinvestigatedqualitatively.Allofthesewereveryimportanttoimprovethestructureofthemacroporousadsorbentinordertoimprovethemass-transferrate.
