摘要 REEgeochemicalstudiesofsurficialsedimentsamplesfromtheYellowSeaofChinahaveshown:(1)TheaveragecontentofRE2O3intheYellowSeasedimentsis175ppm,closetothatintheEastChinaSeasediments.TheREEdistributionpatternsintheYellowSeasedimentsarealsosimilartoanomalies.TheseREEcharacteristicsaretypicalofthecontinentalcrust.(2)ThecontentsofREEarecontrolledmainlybythesedimentgrainsize,i.e.,REEcontentsincreasegraduallywithdecreasingsedimentgrainsize.REEarepresentmainlyinclayminerals.Inaddition,REEcontentsarecontrolledobviouslybyheavyminerals.REEabundancesinheavymineralsaremuchgreaterthanthoseinlightminerals.(3)CorrelationanalysisshowsthatREEhaveacloserelationshipwithsiderophileelements,especiallyTi,whichhasthelargestcorrelationcoefficientrelativetoREE.TerrigenousclasticmaterialssubjectedtoweatheringandtransportaresuggestedtobethemainsourceofREEintheYellowSeasediments.
