Introduction,ThemembersoftheCardiovascularDivisionattheUniversityofFlorida,DepartmentofMedicinehavelongrecognizedtheneedforcardiacrehabilitationofourpatients.PriortoJuly2016,arehabilitationprogramforcardiovascularpatientsattheUniversityofFloridadidnotexist.InJuly2016weinitiatedatotalpatientrehabilitationprogramforallcardiacpatients,whethertheirdiseasewasrelatedtomyocardialischemia,myocardialinfarction,arrhythmia,orheartfailure.Whenbeginningsuchaprogramthereareseveraltopicsthatmustbeconsidered.Theseincludespaceforpatientsandequipment,aswellaspersonneltostafftheprogram.Initially,personnelshouldincludeaphysiologist,anurseandaphysician.
