摘要 Inadditiontodeploymentofthecommercialmanagementproducts,anumberofpublicandselfdevelopedtoolsaresuccessfullyusedatFermilabformonitoringofthecampusnetwork.Asuiteoftoolsconsistingofseveralprogramsrunninginadistributedenvironmenttomeasurenetworkparameterssuchasaverageround-triptime.traffic,throughput,errorrate,DNSresponsesandothersfromdifferentlocationsinthenetworkisused.Thesystemmaintainsacentralarchiveofdata,makesanalysisandgraphicalrepresentationavailableviaaweb-basedinterface.ThedevelopedtoolsarebasedonintegrationwithwellknownpublicsoftwareRRD,Cricketfping,iperf.
