Numerical study of the influence of spoiler deflection on high-lift configuration

摘要 Thispapernumericallystudiestheinfluenceofthedownwardspoilerdeflectionontheboundarylayerflowofahigh-lifttwo-elementairfoilconsistingofadroopnose,amainwing,adownwarddeflectingspoilerandasingleslottedflap.Bothoftheboundarylayeroftheuppersurfaceofthespoilerandtheconfluentboundarylayeroftheuppersurfaceoftheflapbecomethicker,asthedownwardspoilerdeflectionincreases.Comparedtotheattachedflowattheangleofattackof10°,theflowoftheuppersurfaceofthespoilerbecomesseparatedattheangleofattackof16°whenthespoilerdeflectionislargeenough,whichcorrespondstotheboundarylayerflowreversalinvelocityprofiles.
