SincethelowandmediumgradeoxideoresintheMainandEasternMiningAreasattheBayanOboMinehaveahighgradeofNb2O5andlargeorereservesandarerichinmanyelements,theyareofgreatervaluetouseindevelopmentandrecoverythanotherkindsofniobiummineralsresources.Thedisseminationcharacteristicsandprocessingpropertiesoffourtypesofniobiummineralsaresummarisedandmethodsandresultsofniobiummineralprocessingarealsodescribed.
