摘要 Weestablishtheconceptofshapesoffunctionsbyusingpartialdifferentialinequalites.Ourdefinitionaboutshapesincludessomeusualshapessuchasconvex,subharmonic,etc.,andgivesmanynewshapesoffunctions.Themainresultsshowthattheshapepreservingapproxi-mationhascloserelationtotheshapepreservingextension.Oneofourmainresultsshowsthatiff∈C（Ω）hassomeshapedefinedbyourdefinition,thenfcanbeuniformlyapproximatedbypolynomialsPn∈pn（n∈N）whichhavethesameshapeinΩ,andthedegreeoftheap-proximationisCω(f,n-β)withconstantsC,β>0.
