Corioliseffectisconsideredintheanalysisofarotatingpiezoelectrichollowcylinder.AninhomogeneousBesselequationgoverningtheradialmechanicaldisplacementisderived,whichcanbeapproximatedasanEulertypedifferentialequationwhenthecylinderisverythin.NumericalexamplesshowthattheCorioliseffectcanbesignificantundercertainconditions.
