摘要 ExtensionPrinciplesplayasignificantroleintheconstructionofMRAbasedwaveletframesandhaveattractedmuchattentionfortheirpotentialapplicationsinvariousscientificfields.AnovelandsimpleprocedurefortheconstructionoftightwaveletframesgeneratedbytheWalshpolynomialsusingExtensionPrincipleswasrecentlyconsideredbyShahin[TightwaveletframesgeneratedbytheWalshpolynomials,Int.J.Wavelets,Multiresolut.Inf.Process.,11(6)(2013),1350042].Inthispaper,weestablishacompletecharacterizationoftightwaveletframesgeneratedbytheWalshpolynomialsintermsofthepolyphasematricesformedbythepolyphasecomponentsoftheWalshpolynomials.
