Behavior of microbubbles on spatially controlled golden nanoparticles

摘要 Incipientplasmonicbubbleformationisobservedaroundgoldnanopillarswithdifferentinter-nanopillarseparations.Theexperimentalmeasurementsandtheoreticalanalysisshowthatthenanobubbleformationisduetotheenhancedplasmonicresonanceratherthanfromthelaserheating.Inter-nanopillardistributionmayleadtothresholdfluencevariations.Thelifetimeofplasmonicbubblescanreachseveralminutes.Furthermore,boththeradiusandthegrowthrateoftheplasmonicnanobubbleincreaseastheinter-nanopillardistributiondecreases.Smaller-spacingdistributedarraysproducedlargerbubbles.Themaximumgrowthrateofthebubblescanbereachedatabout883.5×10-6m∕son1μmnanopillars,butitisonly56.9×10-6m∕son4μmnanopillars.
