摘要
Basedonthe2ndordercnoidalwavetheory,thecharactersofshallowwaterstandingwavesandtheiractiononverticalwallsarestudiedinthispaper.Thetheoreticalexpressionsofthewavesurfaceelevationinfrontofandthewavepressureontheverticalwallareobtained.Inordertoverifythetheoreticalresults,modeltestsweremadeintheStateKeyLaboratoryofCoastalandOffshoreEngineeringatDUT.Forthewavesurfaceelevationinfrontofthewallandthewaveforcesonthewallatthemomentwhenthewavesurfaceatthewallsurfacegoesdowntothebottomofthewavetrough,thecalculatedresultscoincidequitewellwiththeexperimentalresults.Forthewaveforcesonthewallatthemomentwhenthewavesurfaceatthewallsurfacegoesuptothetopofthewavecrest,thetheoreticalexpressionsaremodifiedbytheexperimentalresults.Fortheconvenienceofpracticaluse,calculationsaremadeforthewaveconditionswhichusuallyoccurinengineringpracticebyuseoftheinves
