Review on studies of reducing Cu-induced surface hot shortness in steel

摘要 Thereisanincreasingtrendforproducingcopper-containingsteels,withcopperbeingeitheraresidualelementfromscrapsoranintentionaladdition,i.e.,inweatheringsteel.Theissueofsurfacehotshortnessoccursduringthehotworkingofsteelscontainingcopper,andasignificantamountofworkhasbeenperformedonthistopic.Thispaperprovidesareviewofrelatedstudiesonthisphenomenon.Theformationmechanism,asanalyzed,istheliquidmetalembrittlementcausedbytheliquidcopperpenetrationintoaustenitegrainboundariesatthemetalsurface,wherethecopperoriginatesfromtheselectiveoxidationofthesteelathightemperature.Onthebasisofthemechanism,moreimportanceisplacedonanalyzingtheeffectonthephenomenonbyvaryingthecontrollingfactors,includingtheheatingprocess,alloyingadditions,anddeformationconditions.Possiblesolutionstotheproblemarefinalized,andsomefurtherworkmustbeperformedinthefuture.
