A new method of passive ranging for underwater target: distance information extraction based on wave guide invariant

摘要 Thestudyofwaveguideinvariantinunderwateracousticsisoneofattractedtopicsinrecent30years.Theinterferencesofdirectwaveandreflectwavefromseasurfaceandseabottomofunderwatertargetradiatednoiseinherenttheinformationoftargetdistance.Extractionofthesedistanceinformationwillprovideapossiblenewwayinpassiverangingforunderwatertarget.ThetheoreticalanalysisandtheresultsofatseaexperimentsshowthattheLOFAR(LowFrequencyAnalysisRecord)figureinherentlycontainstherangeandmovinginformationofpassiveacousticsources,eveninthesituationthatthereceiverisonlyonesinglehydrophone.Thetheoreticalanalysisofextractionoftargetdistanceinformationbyusingwaveguideinvariantispresentedinthispaper.Itisshownthat,basedontheinterferencestriationpatternoftarget,thehydrophonearraysystemispossibletoextractthedistanceinformationwithquitehigharraygain.Althoughthemathematicalconstrainconditionsinforminginterferencestriationpatternaredifferentforindividualarrayelement,butitisprovedthatthedifferencesoftimedelaysbetweenarrayelementscanbeusedincompensationofbeamforming.Thetheoreticalanalysis,systemsimulationandsomeresultsofatseaexperimentshowanewwayinpassiverangingandtargetrecognition.
