摘要
Theprocessofionheatingbyamonochromaticobliquelypropagatinglow-frequencyAlfvenwaveisinvestigated.Thisprocesscanberoughlydividedintothreestages:atfirst,theionsarepickedupbytheAlfvenwaveinseveralgyro-periodsandabulkvelocityinthetransversedirectionisachieved;then,theionsarescatteredinthetransversedirectionbythewave,whichproducesphasedifferencesbetweentheionsandleadstoionheating,especiallyintheperpendiculardirection;andfinally,theionsarestochasticallyheatedduetothesubcyclotronresonance.Inthispaper,withatestparticlemethod,theefficiencyandtimescaleoftheionstochasticheatingbyamonochromaticobliquelypropagatinglow-frequencyAlfvenwavearestudied.Theresultsshowthatwiththeincreaseoftheamplitude,frequency,andpropagationangleoftheAlfvenwave,theefficiencyoftheionstochasticheatingincreases,whilethetimescaleoftheionstochasticheatingdecreases.Withtheincreaseoftheplasmabetaβ,theionsarestochasticallyheatedwithlessefficiency,andthetimescaleincreases.Wealsoinvestigatetheheatingofheavyionspecies(He2+andO5+),whichcanbeheatedwithahigherefficiencybytheobliqueAlfvenwave.
