INFLUENCES OF MICROSCOPE SIZE EFFECT OF MATRIX ON PLASTIC POTENTIAL AND VOID GROWTH OF POROUS MATERIALS

摘要 Basedonapproximatetheoreticalanalysesonatypiealsphericalcellcontainingasphericalmicrovoid,theinfluencesofmatrixmaterials’microscopicscaleonthemacroscopicconstitutivepotentialthe-oryofporousmaterialandmicrovoidgrowthhavebeeninvestigatedindetail.Byassumingthattheplasticde-formationbehaviorofmatrixmaterialsfollowsthestraingradient(SG)plastictheoryinvolvingthestretchandrotationgradients,theratio(λ=l/a)ofthematrixmaterials’intrinsiccharacteristicLengthltothemicro-voidradiusaisintrodncedintotheplasticconstitutivepotentialandthevoidgrrothlaw.Thepresentresultsindicatethat,whentheradiusaofmicrovoidsiscomparablewiththeintrinsiccharacteristiclengthlofthematrixmaterials,theinfluenceofmicroscopicsizeeffectonneithertheconstitutivepotentialnorthemicro-voidevolutionpredictedcanheignored.Andwhenthevoidradiusaismuchlagerthantheintrinsiccharac-teristiclengthlofthematrixmaterials,thepresentmodelcanretrogressautomaticallytotheimprovedGur-sonmodelthattakesintoaccountthestrainhardeningeffectofmatrixmaterials.
