Apiece-wisetransitiondetectionalgorithmthatperformsdisplacementmeasurementsforself-mixingsensorsisdeveloped.Thealgorithmcancorrectlydetectself-mixingfringesatalowsignal-to-noiseratiointhepresenceofdisturbanceswithoutfiltering.Displacementreconstructionsbythephaseunwrappingmethodbasedonthisalgorithmareexperimentallyvalidated,withlasersubjecttothemoderatefeedbackregime.
