摘要
Anewefficientmeshlessmethodbasedontheelement-freeGalerkinmethodisproposedtoanalyzethestaticdeformationofthinandthickplatestructuresinthispaper.Usingthenew3Dshell-likekinematicsinanalogytothesolid-shellconceptofthefiniteelementmethod,discretizationiscarriedoutbythenodeslocatedontheupperandlowersurfacesofthestructures.Theapproximationofallunknownfieldvariablesiscarriedoutbyusingthemovingleastsquares(MLS)approximationschemeinthein-planedirections,whilethelinearinterpolationisappliedthroughthethicknessdirection.Thus,differentboundaryconditionsaredefinedonlyusingdisplacementsandpenaltymethodisusedtoenforcetheessentialboundaryconditions.TheconstrainedGalerkinweakform,whichincorporatesonlydisplacementdegreesoffreedom(d.o.f.s),isderived.Amodified3Dconstitutiverelationshipisadoptedinordertoavoidoreliminatesomeself-lockingeffects.Thenumericefficiencyoftheproposedmeshlessformulationisillustratedbythenumericexamples.
