Response of Stream Water Chemistry to Rainwater Acidification in Natural Forest Region of Qinling Mountains

摘要 ThisstudywasconductedintheHuoditangnaturally-regeneratedforest,whichislocatedatthecenterofthenaturalforestregionacrossthesouthern-slopeoftheQinlingMountains.Rainwaterandstreamwatersampleswerecollectedmainlyinrainyseasonsinthearea.ThesamplepHvaluesandchemicalconcentrationsweremeasured.Theresponseofstreamwaterchemistrytorainwateracidificationintheregionwasstudied.TheresultsshowedthatlongtimerainwateracidificationcouldresultinreductionofpHvalue,Ca2+andMg2+concentrationinthestreamwater.ThechangesofK+,Na+concentrationofstreamwaterwerenotcorrelatedwiththerainwateracidification.TherewasnoresponseofZn,PbandCdconcentrationofthestreamwatertorainwateracidification.Theacidifiedrainwaterdidnotresultinthereleaseoftheheavymetalsenrichedintheforestsoil.
