Coupling of discrete-element method and smoothed particle hydrodynamics for liquid-solid flows-中国期刊网

摘要 Particlebasedmethodscanbeusedforboththesimulationsofsolidandfluidphasesinmultiphasemedium,suchasthediscrete-elementmethodforsolidphaseandthesmoothedparticlehydrodynamicsforfluidphase.Thispaperpresentsacomputationalmethodcombiningthesetwomethodsforsolid-liquidmedium.ThetwophasesarecoupledbyusinganimprovedmodelfromareportedLagrangian-Eulerianmethod.Thetechniqueisverifiedbysimulatingliquid-solidflowsinatwo-dimensionallid-drivencavity.
