<正>DearSir,IamDrZheSong,fromDepartmentofOphthalmologyofDongfangHospitalAffiliatedtoBeijingUniversityofChineseMedicineinBeijing,China.Iwritetopresentacasereportofthetreatmentofcomplextraumaticretinadetachment,whichhasthreehugebreaks.A35-year-oldman,whowasknockeddownandhurthisrighteyewhileplayingfootball,complainedofblurvisionforaday.Thevisualacuitywere4/20ODand10/20OS.Thecorrectedvisualacuitywere4/20ODand10/20OS.Theintraocularpressurewere12mmHgODand13mmHgOS.Therewasbloodinthecentralvitreousoftherighteye.Onegiantbreakandthreenailtypebreakswerefoundinthetempleretina.Thetempleretinadetached,yetthemacularareawasnotinvolved(Figure1).Andthefundusofthelefteyewasnormal.Bultrasonicscanshowedtherighteyetempleretinadetachment(Figure2).VEPandERGoftheeyeswerenormal.
