Thisworkdealswiththekineticsofco-condensationpolymerizationofAB2andABmonomers,givingexpressionsofthetwo-dimensionalmolecularweightdistributionfunctionandthenumber/weightaveragemolecularweightsoftheresultingcopolymers.Thetwo-dimensionalmolecularweightdistributiondependsontwoindices,nandl,whicharetherespectivenumbersofAB2andABunitsinacopolymerspecies.Theevolutionofthetwo-dimensionalweightandzdistributionsduringtheco-condensationpolymerizationhasbeenevaluatedsystematically.Finally,thetwo-dimensionaldistributionwastransformedintoaone-dimensionalmolecularweightdistributionwithonlyonevariable(themolecularweightoftheproductsinsteadofthedegreeofpolymerization).Thecalculatedresultsshowthatthehighlybranchedcopolymerhasaverybroadmolecularweightdistributionwhentheco-condensationpolymerizationapproachescompletion.
