摘要
Tofindthedifferenceindynamiccharacteristicsbetweenconventionalmonohullshipandwavepenetratingcatamaran(WPC),aWPCwastakenasanobject;itsdynamiccharacteristicswerecomputedbytransfermatrixmethodandfiniteelementmethodrespectively.Accordingtothecomparisonofthenaturefrequencyresultsandmodeshaperesults,thefactthatFEMmethodismoresuitabletodynamiccharacteristicsanalysisofaWPCwaspointedout,specialfeaturesondynamiccharacteristicsofWPCweregiven,andsomebeneficialsuggestionsareproposedtooptimizethestrengthofaWPCindesignperiod.
