摘要
Thesediment-hosteddisseminatedgolddepositsintheOinlingregionareofsedimentation-slight-metamorphicoriginsuperimposedbyhydrothermalreworkingatmoderate-lowtemperaturesandarewellcomparablewiththetypicalCarlingolddepositsintheUnitedStates.Inviewoftheconfusingconceptconcerningthe“sediment-hosted”and“Carlin-type”golddeposits,theauthorsproposethattheterm“sediment-hostedgolddeposit”shouldbeusedinabroadsensewhichencompassesatleastthefoursubtypes,i.e.,theCarlintype,themetamorphicfineclastictype,thehydrothermalsedimentarytypeandtheveintype.Inoterwords,the“Carlin-type”shouldnotbeusedasasynonymfor“sediment-hosted”butisrecommendedasasubtypeunderthegeneralcategoryof“sediment-hostedgolddeposits”
