Characterization of Growth Defects in Nd:YCa4O(BO3)3 Crystals by Transmission Synchrotron Topography

摘要 ThegrowthdetectsinNd:YCa4O(BO3)3(Nd:YCOB)crystalswereinvestigatedbytransmissionsynchrotrontopography.ItwasfoundthatgrowthstriationsweretheprimarydefectsinNd:YCOBcrystals.Grown-indislocations.mosaicblocksandinclusionswerealsoobseredinthecrystals.Theeffectoftemperaturefieldontheformationofgrowthdefectsinthecrystalswasdiscussed.
