Acoustic field in a cased well with a sectorial crossing channel

摘要 Tostudythepossibilityofdetectingthecrossingchannelbyusingatraditionalloggingtool,acousticfieldgeneratedbyamonopolesourceinacasedwellwithacrossingchannelofvariousanglesissimulatedby2.5-DFiniteDifferenceMethod(FDM).Snapshotsofnormalstressandsynthetictime-domainwaveformsaredisplayed.Thetwo-dimensionalspectruminwave-numberandfrequencydomainsisalsocalculated,wheretheinfluenceofthechannelisclearerthanthatinthewaveforms.Numericalstudydemonstratedthatacrossingchannelcanbedetectedandsizedifitsangleisgreaterthan30degree,andlargerspacingandlowerfrequencysourcearefavorabletodetectandsizethecrossingchannel.
